Mystery UFO Discovered in NASA Photo from Apollo 11 Moon Mission

Conspiracy theorists suggest it is evidence the space agency was 'bombing alien installations on the lunar surface'

EAGLE-EYED space buffs have spotted what appears to be a UFO in an old NASA photo of the Moon.

The grainy image is thought to have been taken on the legendary Apollo 11 space mission, manned by the first men on the moon Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin.

The pair returned to Earth in triumph having completed their mission to collect samples on 20 July 1969.

But the picture has since appeared in a video featured on YouTube channel Paranormal Crucible.

The site focuses in on the mystery object, which appears tiny on the picture, enlarging and “processing” it.

The cigar-shaped object has the appearance of a rocket – with what looks like a bright plume blasting out behind it.

The popular conspiracy theorist destination – which describes itself as “the home of the bizarre” – has its own suggestions as to what the object could be.

The video’s description reads: “Bizarre image from the Apollo archives which appears to show a missile-type UFO cruising across the Moon.

“Could NASA be bombing alien installations on the lunar surface, possibly using high tech ships from the secret space program?

“Very odd object, not convinced it’s an alien craft. More likely something we launched – but at who and why?”

The video has been viewed more than 117,000 times since it was uploaded ten days ago, with many of the commenters seeming to agree with one of these ideas.

But not everyone was so convinced.

One suggested that the shape was actually a “meteor skipping off our atmosphere”.

Others branded the image “doctored”, with one pointing out that “rocket plumes do not happen in the vacuum of space”.
